i think the 3076 is the biggest you can low mount, but not sure on standard mani, you can get a t2 rear housing for it that would work?

yep, got 3076 .82 rear twinscroll 2.2 litre SR on pump fuel

 

Sorry dude I think you misread the numbers. I was chasing info on the 3067

Someone needs to bite the bullet already and get a GTX3067 with T3 0.61 twinscroll housing. I've heard from a Garrett dude that A/Rs are equivalent in divided and undivided, so it should be pretty identical flow-wise to the usual 0.63 housing that's ideal on 2L SR20s - but twin scroll so will spool much much faster

Isn't .61 twin scroll housing way too small?

 

I'm thinking of getting this turbo getting external gate welded on exhaust housings and bolting it to standard manifold.

 

But... It's not gonna happen soon....

It's supposed to flow the same as T3 0.63, so not too small by any stretch.

Revival.

 

Anyone using the GTX3067 yet??

 

Last weekend i swapped my GT3082 for a GTX3067.

I haven't driven the car (track car)

but it has a few other changes due and a retune on the 15th.

I will report back then with a comparison dyno.

 

for now here is a picture containing a cat & a turbo.

will dose much less, GTX wheels don't dose mad :)

will come on mad though!

 

I just tuned a GTX3071 twin scroll with a 0.83 rear on a SR20 and it's making 350kW+ and 22psi by 4050rpm

Im disappointed by this.

But i do have a bov, so the dose is all but gone from my life.

 

Curently my little slut is f**king laggy. reaching 17PSI pretty much on 5K rpm.

Hence the reason for the smaller turbot.

should be good to see a back to back GTX3067 vs GTX3071

 

I have logs I recorded off the ECU too on the dyno, so I can plot anything anyone wants :)

We had a few dramas.

 

Ls2 coils dident like me.

Spark plug snaped thread in block when we were regapping.

Toward end it decided to piss oil from cam tentioner gasket.

 

Car still wants to be laggy AF.

So posting dyno will make me sad.

It made roughly equal power n similar lag.

 

Need to look at cam size n cam timming in depth.

Lame, if anything I was wondering about the opposite problem, i.e. problems with compressor surge coming onto boost (small turbine

long story short. my intake cam was retarded.

its fixed now, dialed in, running way way better and booked in to be re-tuned on the 1st august

so ill report back then

Ok Here we go, yesterday was a way more successful than the other FN on the dyno (got cams dialed in correctly this time)

 

Basic Mods

- Stock Sr with recently replaced bottom end bearings and roughly 180, 000 on the odo.

 

- GTX3067 with .64 housing

- 3inch intake pipe, with HPX N1 afm sensor and KnN Pod.

- highmount T3 single scroll manifold with 45mm external gate

- full 3inch exhaust with only a single rear muffler.

- Powered By Max tucked Intercooler

 

- Nistune'd ECU.

- Xspurt 1650cc injectors, Proflow fuel rail and Walbro E85 pump in 5l surge tank with sard lift pump in main tank.

 

Cam's

Intake - HFM 264 / 11.9mm lift

Exhaust - Tomei 270 / 12.5mm lift

 

Running E85 only and roughly 20 psi of boost it put out 359.4hp (am i allowed to round this up to 360?)
