Hey all haven't really introduced myself or anything but yeah
i own a red 1996 subaru impreza hatchback, rx
basically i want some wheels for it but i dunno what to get?
I'm on a budget and i don't want to spend more than $2000
due to subaru's wack stud pattern (5x100) the options have been cut down a fair bit
any of you guys got some suggestions?
im looking for either a 16x8 with about +15 offset or 17's if i don't have to do any guard work?
i'm sitting on pretty damn low kingsprings
any help would be greaatly appreciated

i went to wheelworx today and it looks like superlights might be an option. Will they look alright? Has anyone got them on theirs now?
Also where can you get wrx wheels and how much do they cost approximately?

Are you looking for the lightest wheels you can get or biggest dish?

Lightest wheels I know of are Rays Gram lights. I will possibly be getting a set for my car straight from Japan

Depends, you can usually find a set second hand through one of the sponsors on here for a pretty hot deal!

really?

TE37s look shite on WRX's because of the high offset needed. Factory they have an offset of +53 :S
I'm rocking out GDB 17" rims atm.

high offset te37's if your still looking but would only go onto an RX or change the front tyres to get same rolling diameter
2x 18x9.5 +40
2x 18x10.5 +38

$3300

can be found at japanese motorsport in magill SA for 3.3k

Be careful because the AWD system will not like staggered sets. However if the rx is only front wheel drive they should be fine.

They are TE37's. You can google them, they aren't cheap but they are well worth it.

lol guys for 2k hell be lucky if he can even find 2nd hand volk te37 for that much that would even fit rexxy. I reckon volk gtc look good on wrx though =) but then agen u only got 2k. Some rims you can be lucky enough to find 2nd hand that are still pretty good condition but since they are 2nd hand theres a small chance itll end up being a perfect fit and look flush on ur car.

Don't get Rotas.

Get te37s or ce28s. Here is a pic of te37s on a Subaru:

For $2k you can get 2nd hand te37s pretty easily (in good condition) - However, will be difficult to get an aggressive offset at that price.

The thing with WRXS is they are 5x100 so its near impossible to find Genuine Rays wheels in a good offset. Hence Rota wheels they make good offsets in there wheels in 5x100

Rota CE28 replicas for $1100 delivered. They look sweet and come in the 5x100 pattern. Would they fit under the guards being 18x8.5 though?
